Description
Safety Officer role in the Constrution department team.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor workplace health and safety programs on construction sites.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
Deliver safety training and inductions to workers, contractors, and visitors.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and company policies.
Requirements
Diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years of safety management experience in construction or industrial environments.
Thorough knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
Strong communication and training delivery skills.
Attention to detail and ability to enforce safety standards consistently.
